When a violent incident occurs or teacher or student dies, school personnel must know their roles and quickly respond. Contact provides crisis response team training throughout Onondaga County to prepare school personnel to handle crises within the school community. Training is tailored to the needs of the school and its student body. It incorporates education, crisis role playing and ongoing consultation. The training also covers a variety of student emotional issues including depression, coping with loss, aggressive behavior, substance abuse, and family issues.
